Connect Group are working with a top client who are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio-Visual Installation Technician to join their team. This role focuses on the installation, configuration, and maintenance of high-end AV systems within luxury residential and commercial spaces.
We're looking for an experienced seasoned Lead AV engineer who is able to run a project from the technical specification and who is an excellent management of engineers and team members.
Location: Hampshire (Based on ONE client site, will involve occasional abroad travel)
Job Responsibilities:
1. Installing and configuring audio, video, lighting systems, and control interfaces.
2. Ensuring optimal performance and functionality of all systems.
3. Maintaining clean and organised cable installations.
4. Assembling and configuring equipment racks.
5. Creating and maintaining accurate system documentation.
6. Working closely with project managers and other engineers.
7. Providing excellent customer service to clients.
Experience Required:
1. Experience with installation and configuration of cameras, microphones, LED displays.
2. Minimum 2+ years of experience within AV installations in a commercial/residential field.
3. Proven experience in installing and integrating audio-visual systems, including audio equipment (speakers, amplifiers), video displays (projectors, TVs), lighting systems, and control interfaces.
4. Ability to conduct thorough testing and calibration of AV systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
5. Experience in proper cable routing, dressing, and securing to maintain a clean and organized installation.
6. Ability to assemble and configure equipment racks, ensuring proper ventilation and cable management.
