There is a relaxed atmosphere with great nursing team support to fully work up your own cases. They have visiting orthopaedic surgeons and cardiac surgeons that visit them as and when required.
Team: They have a great reception and nursing support team available to help ensure patients get the best care. Their primary focus is on patient care and ensuring the best customer service to clients. Their practice offers support to their vets and encourages them to expand their knowledge and skill set to advance their skills.
The Role: A small animal independent surgery seeks a permanent veterinary surgeon with at least 2 years of experience.
Duties: The successful candidate will be a veterinary surgeon looking to work in a small animal clinic consulting and operating routine procedures, seeking to advance their skill set and deal with cases in-house. They are looking for a candidate who will build long-term relationships with clients with a focus on excellent customer service and patient care.
Hours: The hours we are looking for on average is a 40-hour week to include two Saturdays a month.
Candidate:
* They are looking for a veterinary surgeon with at least 2 plus years’ experience working in a small animal practice.
* You will need to have a keen interest in surgery and working up your own cases.
* You will need to work well under pressure and work well in a team and be capable of being sole charge.
* They are looking for someone that has great customer service skills with a can-do attitude.
Support: They can offer financial CPD support in the areas that interest you most and will support surgeons’ interests to advance their skill sets.
Salary: They would like to offer a competitive salary to the right candidate depending on experience. They are offering a salary between £45,000 to £78,000 p/a.
