This post is responsible for providing personal care and support to service users in a residential care setting. To do this, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is able to work both on an individual basis and as a member of a team. You will adopt a person-centred approach to deliver a high standard of flexible and responsive care to service users within the home to maximise and maintain their independence.
Previous experience in social care is desirable but not essential. Ideally, you should hold an SVQ 2 in Social Care, or other relevant qualification, to enable registration with the SSSC as a Support Worker in a Care Home Service or be willing to achieve this within 5 years of appointment.
This is a part-time permanent post of 18.51 hours working a three week rota consisting of day, back and night shifts and includes evening and weekend enhancements.
