A well-respected Defence/Nuclear company are looking for a EC&I Engineer on a new 12-month minimum contract, which is highly likely to extend due to big project funding. You will be responsible for production of the EC&I concept, outline and detail design, verification and validation and test and commissioning documents for safety critical material handling equipment for use in a defence application.
Key initiatives that this role will support will include; Review and revise electrical aspects of previous project and recommend necessary change to ensure that they conform to current legislation, industry standards, codes and regulations.
Skills needed: Experience in Functional Safety is highly desirable Shall be able to supervise, check and approve the production of detailed EC&I specifications and scopes of work, EC&I design drawings, EC&I schedules and EC&I calculations which can include; cable routing drawings, schematic and single line diagrams, loop diagrams, general arrangement drawings, cable and load schedules, material take-offs, scope documents, software and hand cable calculations, inspection and test reports and commissioning plans UK candidates only
