Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
Location: Nottingham
Department: Teaching, Learning & Assessment
Are you passionate about safeguarding and learner success? Join Buttercups Training as our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and lead the way in creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for our learners.
In this vital role, you’ll oversee all aspects of safeguarding and learner support services, ensuring we meet our statutory responsibilities while delivering outstanding provision in safeguarding, additional learning support, careers guidance, and pastoral care.
You’ll:
* Lead a high-performing team delivering key learner support services
* Be the main point of contact for all safeguarding matters
* Shape and implement policy and best practice across the business
* Deliver staff training and continuous improvement
* Work closely with external agencies and internal stakeholders
What we’re looking for:
* Minimum 18 months' experience as a DSL in education
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and Prevent Duty
* Proven leadership in learner support and pastoral care
* Excellent communication, analytical and reporting skills
* A team player with a proactive and compassionate approach
