Fully remote working from home. Access to a suitable home office and excellent internet connection is essential. Occasional travel is required to attend meetings and services throughout the UK.

Key Requirements:
1. A comprehensive knowledge of organisational dynamics and resource and an ability to maximise organisational potential. (PCF - Strategic Social Work Manager).
2. Ability to build and maintain effective ‘project’ teams across multiple organisations/partnerships.
3. Ability to communicate information about the Volunteer Programme and to respond to queries, complaints and requests for information from diverse audiences.
4. Ability to deliver customer focus and improvement throughout the organisation.
5. Experience in volunteering.
6. Good inter-personal skills and experience of working with community groups and volunteers on public events and activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Being the corporate lead for the implementation of an organisation-wide volunteering strategy to deliver a step change in the involvement and contribution of volunteers.
2. Working with corporate and social responsibility colleagues in fundraising, and by supporting work with other departments and through our local services.
3. Work across the organisation and with other charities to promote the sharing of good practice, policies and procedures in respect of volunteer management in accordance with changing legislative requirements, government initiatives and other national external drivers.
4. Develop and disseminate frameworks for the consistent high-quality support and management of volunteers through promoting awareness and understanding of volunteer development across the organisation.
5. Establish and report on performance indicators to demonstrate increasing opportunities for volunteering, including enhancing the headcount and diversity of volunteers and their added value.
6. Develop frameworks and processes that promote positive outcomes and rewards for volunteers, e.g. skills, accreditation, and other forms of recognition.
7. Responsible for the continued development and application of robust checking processes for volunteers, undertaking appropriate auditing of processes and outcomes.
