We are looking for a Manager, Tax Reporting to join our Blume Business Solutions team. This permanent role offers hybrid working, with the flexibility to be based in either Bradford or Leeds. You will be expected to work in the office at least 2 days a week. We are seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to support our Tax team in delivering high-quality, timely solutions to our Blume Tax customers. You will provide expertise on technical tax and tax accounting matters, including UK Corporate Tax returns, tax provisioning under UK GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP, as well as other specialist projects like Pillar 2. Collaborate with the UK Corporate Tax returns team to verify the technical accuracy of positions in our customers' UK tax returns. Work with customers to ensure technical matters within our solutions are fully understood and documented. Partner with the UK Corporate Tax Accounting team to clarify tax technical matters before provisioning activities at quarter and year ends. Assist in preparing and reviewing quarterly tax reporting submissions under ASC740 (US GAAP) and IAS12 (IFRS). Help manage Blume Tax’s consolidated tax reporting infrastructure (currently in Excel and HFM). Contribute to the design and maintenance of key Sox controls across client engagements. Assist in drafting and reviewing aspects of Pillar 2 reporting for various jurisdictions and support overall project efforts. Drive our Country-by-Country Reporting solution for clients. Support other aspects of our Corporate Tax compliance and reporting solutions, including CFC analysis, Capital Allowances reviews, Hybrids review, stock-based compensation, and Uncertain Tax Treatments legislation. We tend to look for people with: Essential A master’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or tax from an accredited college/university AND/OR professional qualifications such as ACA and/or CTA (or equivalents). Significant experience in a tax or tax-related role. Extensive experience in interpreting and applying UK tax law and Generally Accepted Accounting Standards (knowledge of ASC740 and IAS 12 preferred). Advanced Excel skills. Practical experience in integrating technology (e.g., AI) into processes and solutions. Preferred Experience with financial systems such as SAP/Oracle and/or Hyperion. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information and expectations. Fluency in English What’s in it for you?
