To act as a liaison between customers and the production team – providing administrative support.

Job Responsibilities
1. Maintains customer records by updating account information.
2. Receives and creates customer orders by gathering, analyzing and inputting data into Visual ERP via purchase orders, customer bill of materials and customer drawings.
3. Prepares purchase requisitions for purchased components.
4. Prepares product and service work orders for production and distributes to production board/floor.
5. Works with Production Supervisors, lead hands and Shipping department to ensure customer needs are met.
6. Monitors order status and shipping status.
7. Advises customers of order status/delivery times/rush orders.
8. Resolves product or service challenges with the Quality/Production departments by clarifying the customer’s issues/requests, solving the problem, and following up to ensure satisfaction.
9. Keeps records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
10. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
11. Prepares pre-shipping documents for shipper (manifest list/weights, package specifications, Customer order pricing updates based on shipping weights, etc.).
12. Ensures output meets quality standards.
13. Ensures all health and safety precautions are taken, policies are followed and enforced.
Qualifications & Skills
Qualifications
1. Diploma in Engineering or Business-related field.
2. 2-3 years of production planning experience.
3. Ability to read drawings is a strong asset.
