This includes older people`s residential care, Specialist dementia care, Mental health nursing and supported housing for people with learning disabilities, with over 25 years` experience in over 100 care schemes, providing three million hours of care each year - GreenSquareAccord provides a hugely rewarding place to work About the ServiceAs a Dementia centre of Excellence Bowbrook is designed specifically to meet the needs of people living with dementia, the centre provides 90 individual living spaces which consist of six households, each with a communal kitchen, dining area, lounge, Cinema room and access to gardens and outdoor space- including a rooftop terrace! We also have a community hub on site offering the following to residents and the general public - Coffee bar, shop, hairdresser, events rooms, garden with childrens play area and much more.In your new role, you will:Build relationships with Residents, which are open and two waySupport Residents to undertake their daily routinesEstablish methods of communication with residents, reducing barriers when necessaryAccurately report and/or record work activitiesSupport with activities of daily living & personal careAssist residents with mealtimes where necessary.You will ideally have:Experience working within a Care environmentNVQ level 3 in Health and Social CareA warm hearted, friendly manner, patience, kindness and good communication, a willingness to help others, requiring patienceAn open and honest character, respectful and celebrate diversity, connect with colleagues and residents to celebrate uniquenessThe ability to be a natural care giver and someone who can communicate in an open and honest manner with your colleagues, residents and their visitorsOur purposeWe are proud to be able to support tens of thousands of people across England by providing affordable housing and care to help people live independently.Our focus is on building better lives.
