Warehouse Team Manager - Speke DC
We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Manager at the Vault Speke DC working weekend nights.
Shift pattern:
Week 1: Friday/Saturday/Sunday - 6pm-6am
Week 2: Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday - 6pm-6am
Role and Responsibilities:
* Lead and motivate your team with a focus on overall employee welfare.
* Manage colleagues and deal with relevant personnel issues as and when the need arises including but not limited to absence management, performance, and disciplinary issues.
* Plan the layout of goods within the warehouse and organise equipment availability.
* Plan the training of staff and monitor their performance and progress through regular reviews and feedback.
* Carry out team briefs and produce reports throughout the shift.
* Use space and MHE efficiently ensuring workplace health and safety requirements are met, investigate thoroughly any incidents/accidents and escalate any issues that require it.
* Manage productivity within your area of control – responsible for any department specific requirements (e.g., any relevant sign-offs for each department; loading sheets).
* Responsible for your area of control ensuring KPI targets are achieved.
* Manage all product arrivals from Goods In to stock location.
* Management of WMS ensuring any issues are escalated in a timely manner.
* Maintain, monitor and act where appropriate to ensure a safe working environment for colleagues, visitors, and contractors on site. Where appropriate, escalate any health and safety issues to the Shift Manager and H&S Manager.
* Consistent achievement of KPI targets.
