Job description
Our Client, a market leader in their field, is investing significantly within their Technology arena and seeking to appoint a Lead Architect.
The role is operated on a hybrid basis with offices in Hampshire and West Sussex.
This is an influential and highly visible job role, reporting directly into the leadership and managing a team of technically sound Business System Analysts. In order to be successful in this job role you will have significant technical knowledge and experience across IT Systems and Applications change, as well as the wider technology landscape.
You will be leading from a strategic point of view looking both at current state and what's next and thus ensuring the internal IT of the business is effective. You will also provide the insight and direction of how to deliver any recommended change and mitigate potential impacts / risks. This job role is therefore going to suit someone who is able to transition between the detail and the vision.
Also key to the role will be managing stakeholders of all levels, both internal and 3rd parties. You will be required to lead from the front in terms of day to day management of the team acting as the go to for queries. You will also be the link between internal users, development teams, and third parties, ensuring effective communication regarding software functionality throughout the product life-cycle.
1. Identify opportunities for maximising business value from existing technology and application landscape.
2. Manage requirements gathering, technical design, delivery, testing, and deployment within a project environment.
3. Assist Service and BAU teams in prioritising and resolving service activities and change requests providing process and application expertise.
4. Lead user acceptance testing and customer sign-off.
5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the Business.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant business systems, technologies, and tools, and act as the SME for effective technology use.
7. Implement proper processes, resources, and monitoring across the SDLC.
8. Effectively lead, motivate and manage the team of Business System Analysts
9. Ensure effective communication with key stakeholders and suppliers, internal and external, to support the smooth provision and receipt of services.
10. Assist in the production of robust business cases for the development and implementation of business changes as required.
