We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to cover a Patient Hearings Review Coordinator role within our Mental Health Act Team.
This is a 12-month fixed-term position to cover maternity leave.
The post will require you to go to hospital sites, when required and in line with our hybrid working policy.

Responsibilities include:
1. Arranging all patient review hearings in line with the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice.
2. Liaising with the Head of Service and Associate Hospital Managers alongside clinical staff to obtain reports and chase reports when not received.
3. Escalating areas of concern as and when required.
4. Providing data and statistics as and when required.
5. Using spreadsheets to ensure all data is kept up to date and consistent with review information.
6. Liaising with patients and carers/nearest relatives alongside solicitors and outside organisations.
The post requires a well-organized person who has excellent communication skills and can work alone as well as within a team. Outstanding time management is essential to ensure reviews are catered for in a timely manner. Knowledge of computer spreadsheets and good computing skills are a must.
