This is a new and exciting opportunity to join the Building Services Team (BST) in the Jeffrey Cheah Biomedical Centre (JCBC). You will supervise the 2-person reception team and support the smooth delivery of the building services to JCBC occupants. You will be the point of contact for all building users, resolving problems, and providing day-to-day comprehensive support. This role will be based on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements. We are looking for a well organised and enthusiastic person to take on this important role. You will maintain effective office procedures and records, facilitate the maintenance of building facilities and equipment, oversee repairs schedules and report any health and safety issues.You will also be responsible for a wide range of communication on behalf of the BST, both internal and external. Previous experience of similar roles is essential. You should be educated to 'A' level standard with excellent organisation, communication and written English skills. We are looking for someone with a flexible and adaptable 'can do' attitude to work, who has the ability to work with a high level of accuracy and to tight deadlines. You will be required to prioritise and act on your own initiative. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required as are excellent people skills and previous experience of maintaining websites.
