Early Years PractitionerLocation: Guinea Lane Nursery, BA1 5NBSalary: £23,400 - £29,016 DOE and qualificationContract: Full time, Permanent. 36 Per week over 4 days. (Monday - Friday) 1 rolling day off per week, long weekend (Friday & Monday off) every 4/5 weeks.Benefits: Fully funded apprenticeships at level 2 and 3, 24/7 access to our Employee Assistance Programme in partnership with Health Assured.
Additional Annual leave entitlement, 75% childcare discount.We are currently recruiting an experienced and dynamic Early Years Practitioners to join us in our beautiful nursery in the heart of Bath.We are looking for practitioners who have the passion, enthusiasm and professional skills to work within a team of early years practitioners in delivering a play-based curriculum, that supports each child's learning and development.The successful candidate(s) will help shape & lead the high-quality childcare & education that we provided for the families who attend our nurseries.The responsibilities of an Early Years Practitioner:To act as a key person for a group of children, taking responsibility for all aspects of children's safety, emotional well-being and learning and development.Working with children under the age of 2 years old.Build relationships with the child's parents/guardians/carer and other who are important in the student's life.Work with the senior team and regional SENDCO to continuously improve quality of childcare and educationSupport the development of good practice in regard to the inclusion of children with additional needs and/or disabilities into nursery life.Adhere to the nurseries child protection policy and procedures to ensure that all the children have the opportunity to achieve full potential.Conduct effective child protection and safeguarding and continuing to be aware of the responsibility to ensure areas of concern for a child are addressed and dealt with.Understand and continually follow Child Protection Procedures.Support the children to develop positive attitude to food and healthy lifestyles.Proactively include children at mealtimes to create a social occasion and inclusion that promotes social and emotional development.To be successful in this role you must:Possess level 2, 3 or above (Full and relevant as defined by DFE).Experience working with children with additional needs would be desirable.Experience working with children under the age of 2 years old would be desirable.Passionate enthusiasm for Early Years, and motivation to continue your professional development.If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role click on APPLY today, forwarding an up to date copy of your CV for consideration in the first instance.No agencies please.TPBN1_UKTJ
