Revenues Officer
22.5 hours per week
£26,421 - £28,770 per annum
We are looking for a Revenues Officer to work as part of a team to ensure that records are maintained to enable the correct billing and recovery of Council Tax, Non Domestic Rates, Housing Benefit Overpayments and Former Tenant Arrears.
You must have experience of working with the general public with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with individuals of all levels. Ideally, you would have knowledge or experience in dealing with the collection/recovery of Council Tax, Non-Domestic Rates, Housing Benefit Overpayments, or Former Rent Arrears.
Appointment to this post will be conditional upon receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service, before the appointment is confirmed. A Basic check will be required. This will contain details of convictions and conditional cautions considered to be ‘unspent’ under the terms of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
