As an Equine Groom, you willplay a role in the success of our students through: c ontributing to the day to day running of the yard including weekend cover participating in the care of horses to include all routine husbandry duties exercising horses as directed by the Centre Manager, subject to previous experience Part of this role involvessupervising students during their practical sessions on the yard to supporttheir personal development and learning skills so great communication is key. This role comprises of yardduties, field and facility maintenance and student supervision. There will beriding for the right candidate. Training will be given, but anability to follow procedures with sense and good humour is a must. Must work well in a team. The successful candidate will beeducated to at least BHS Stage 2/NVQ Level 2 or will have equivalentexperience. Recent experience within a yard and working with young people isessential.
