How do you transfer millions of products from factories across the globe to the shelves of our retailers? As a L'Oréal Supply Chain and Operations Intern, you'll help sharpen and improve the process across our multinational operation.
You will...
1. Liaise with European factories, international third-party suppliers, and other internal teams to maximize product availability.
2. Communicate with the Market Supply Logistics (MSL) to foresee any possible delivery issues between international factories and Distribution Centres affecting the UK or International Zone Logistics team.
3. Work closely with Marketing and Commercial teams in the UK or International Zones to understand the need for stock levels, accurately forecast product potential, and maximize service levels to our customers.
4. Manage daily reporting on behalf of the planning team and slow-moving stocks.
5. Build and develop relationships with customers to understand demand and resolve operational issues.
6. Drive collaborative projects to improve efficiencies and identify opportunities for enhanced service delivery.
