Deliveroo HOP
Deliveroo HOP launched in September 2021 and is Deliveroo’s speedy grocery delivery service. Our mission is to deliver groceries to customers around the world in as little as 10 minutes - from the weekly shop, to a last minute dinner party or a late night snack. Working with trusted grocers, Deliveroo HOP promises to bring customers the very best products at lightning speed.
The team behind Deliveroo HOP are building a network of stores across 5 markets around the world, including Hong Kong. Each delivery store is staffed with a team who have been specially trained to manage the operations efficiently as well as pick and pack orders in record time, with Deliveroo’s 100,000 strong rider network completing all deliveries.

The Role
As Vendor Enablement Manager, you will be at the centre of improving the customer value proposition for Deliveroo HOP. You will build the best possible tools and processes to ensure we offer a wide product selection with competitive pricing. Developing robust benchmarking capabilities, you'll stay ahead of competitors and effectively communicate price and range recommendations to our partners and senior leadership.
What you’ll be doing
1. Shape Deliveroo HOP’s product selection to drive our customer proposition:
2. Help define overall pricing and category strategy
3. Build and manage relationships with our external partners and vendors, negotiate on product selection, pricing and promotions
4. Act as a buyer to identify suitable suppliers and source suitable products for the business
5. Continually refine range and pricing strategies
6. Ongoing assessment of sales performance, manage monthly and quarterly product range reviews with local and HQ teams
7. Identify opportunities for improvement and proactively make data-driven recommendations
8. Design and automate processes to reduce time-to-market for new products
9. Develop and implement scalable solutions for product sourcing, onboarding and pricing on the platform
Requirements
10. Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent industry experience
11. At least 3 years’ experience in an account or category management role, experience in a startup or e-commerce is a plus
12. Experience in delivering recommendations from data analysis and working cross-functionally to deliver projects
13. Skilled with using Google Suite tools, particularly in building and analysing spreadsheets
14. Proficient in English
15. Resourceful, action and detail-oriented, with a high ownership mindset to deliver measurable impact
