Job summary St Luke's Hospice in Basildon has a fantastic opportunity for two dedicated clinical nurse specialists to join our team on a 9 month maternity contract. One position is full-time and the other part-time for 22.5 hours per week. You will play a vital role working with the hospice community services team and help us deliver patient-centred care providing the highest quality care to our patients. As a clinical nurse specialist, you will provide expert advice related to specific conditions or treatment pathways, conduct research and implement new changes that can enhance the patients' health quality. You will be responsible for prescribing medication, assessing, diagnosing and managing patient problems, providing education and supportive counselling to the patients' and families.
