A family-owned Contractor is recruiting a Project Manager to help deliver a high profile, high visibility urban project that will provide resilience to the area for years to come!
You will hold overall responsibility for the safe delivery of the project which has an overall value of around £40M. Your key responsibilities will lie with the coordination of all aspects of the Contract, Preconstruction, Design and Build functions and in ensuring the financial performance meets company expectations.
Scope will include various types of piling, general civils works, FRC works with architectural finishes and urban realm improvements.
You will:
Prepare the programme, method statements and submission
Maintain and adjust the contract programme
Ensure that the Health, Safety & Environmental plan and project resources reflect the project scope and programme, including temporary works
Instruct the QS to agree all major preliminary items expenditure, including plant and accommodation
Chair start-up & production meetings
Lead all aspect of Project Team functions (PEP, Risk & Commercial Success, Financials, Processes, HSEQS, Stakeholder Management, Project Administration, Design Management & Project Close Out)
Manage, through others, consultant and subcontract design as required by the contract including delivery of the BIM strategy
Compile and implement the Project Execution Plan
To be successful in this position it is expected that:
You be educated to degree level in civil engineering
You have demonstrable experience in overseeing the delivery of civil engineering projects with a value of 20M+
Have strong commercial and contractual acumen, primarily with the NEC suite
You will hold a SMSTS, CSCS Card and other vocational qualifications
On offer is a salary of around 70,000 - 80,000 per annum along with a company car or car allowance, and additional benefits
