Responsibilities of the Primary Teacher:
1. Preparing classroom materials aligned with the UK national curriculum.
2. Analyzing student results in Wiltshire, reporting to the departmental lead, and providing solutions to enhance and maintain excellent standards.
3. Reviewing and enforcing safeguarding protocols in all instances, reporting sensitively to the Wiltshire SEN lead.
Requirements of the Primary Teacher:
1. Qualified teacher status – QTS, QTLS (with current membership), and PGCE.
2. OTT (Overseas Trained Teachers) must have UK qualified teacher status.
3. An enthusiastic “can-do” attitude and a strong desire to engage Wiltshire students in their learning.
4. Interest or experience in Special Needs Education, as students have a broad range of abilities and needs.
5. Current DBS certificate (employment is subject to this being in place).
