Your role and responsibilities You will: source placements for Children and Young People in Care up to the age of 18 years old work with both internal and external professionals and the external provider market negotiating suitable individual packages for Children and Young People, ensuring contract compliance and financial accountability. You will need to: be a team player with strong IT skills understand customer needs and know how to deliver a good customer service experience have high level communication and IT skills, with an ability to contribute to a team approach have the ability to work confidently under your own initiative and work independently to resolve a range of issues show accuracy and a keen eye for detail have excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work to achieve deadlines and team objectives. The team The Corporate Parenting Placements and Contract Team are a countywide operational service that undertakes the placement finding and matches with associated purchasing arrangements and in-house resources for children and young people. Recording, quality assurance and contract monitoring of all placements & associated support services, including the provision of foster, respite, residential care placements and bespoke packages.
