About the Role As the Business Development Manager, you’ll be pivotal in securing new sales opportunities and expanding the company’s reach. Your responsibilities will include: Leading opportunity development, tendering, and customer negotiations. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to maximize sales potential within your designated area. Monitoring performance to achieve sales targets and working closely with the sales support team. Following up on leads, tracking competitor activity, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance the sales process and customer journey. Contributing to the launch of new products and services and participating in national sales events. About You The ideal candidate should have proven experience in selling multi-utility new connections—gas, water, and electricity—to residential housing developers, as well as industrial and commercial clients. Additionally, they should have relevant experience working for organizations such as Independent Connection Providers (ICP), Utility Infrastructure Providers (UIP), or Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDNO). You should have: A proven track record in sales and project management within similar industries. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques and the ability to handle technically based products and services. Strong time-management skills to effectively manage your own workload. What We Offer Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 (Basic) Car Allowance £6,600 Bonus OTE £20,000 Annual Pay Review: Minimum cost-of-living increase. Hybrid Working.
