Applicants MUST reside in the UK currently.The HVAC Technician will be required to work in a core role, on a 2-on/3-off rotation, onboard an installation located in the Northern North Sea. The ideal candidate will preferably have proven experience in a similar offshore role, but essentially will have hands-on experience of executing the routine maintenance, repair and fault finding on large commercial/industrial HVAC systems, including (but not limited to): AHUs, supply and extract fans, motors, DX refrigeration systems, humidifiers, pneumatically actuated fire/dampers, electric heaters, etc.Company OverviewTrident-IES, formerly known as IES Callenberg Ltd. was established in 1984 and has successfully been delivering our Scope of Service to the oil & gas industry since then. Our client portfolio includes major oil and gas operators and integrated service companies.We employ over 100 staff and have a full complement of highly experienced HVAC Consultants, design engineers, CAD Operators, Project engineers, Modular Door Technicians, and support staff.Although we primarily specialise in the oil & gas industry, we have also grown our contracts in the renewable energy sector, servicing many on and offshore sub-stations across various windfarms.Who we are looking for and responsibilities.In addition to routine maintenance, potential candidates must also be capable and confident in performing module pressure checks, fan performance checks, basic LEV testing, ductwork, internal/external inspections, interpreting PID, DID, DFD, GA drawings, electrical wiring schematics. In addition, candidates must have experience working on all aspects of industrial refrigeration equipment maintenance, including routine leak testing, fault finding and corrective repairs.· Knowledge of F-Gas Regulations and experience of F-Gas management with accompanying 2079 certification is essential.· As is an understanding of COSHH and HSE requirements regarding LEV system testing and maintenance, including the ability to maintain accurate records of work conducted.· Those with a demonstratable knowledge of applicable industry standards (e.g., ISO 15138, etc.) are highly desirable.· The candidates must have strong communication skills have intermediate IT skills (Word, Excel) and be familiar in the use of ISSOW and CMMS systems, be highly motivated and proactive, and can work independently but also as part of a team.Qualifications required: Ideally the candidate will hold an S/NVQ L3 in either the refrigeration or air conditioning disciplines, however, applicants with S/NVQ L 2 or those with suitable experience will also be considered.Certification required:· Offshore survival, MIST, OEUK Medical (preferable)· F-Gas 2079· WAH (Level 2 preferable)· Small Bore Tubing (SBT01)· Emergency First Aid (preferable)· Comp Ex (EX01-04) (preferable).
