Job Description: Occupational Therapist Location: West Midlands Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 About the Role: We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in the West Midlands area. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in assessing and supporting individuals to manage and improve their ability to perform daily activities and live independently. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical, psychological, and environmental needs. Develop and implement personalized care plans to improve clients' functional abilities and well-being. Provide advice, guidance, and training to clients and their families on equipment, adaptations, and techniques to promote independence. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care delivery. Monitor and review progress regularly, adjusting care plans where necessary. Provide support and training to junior therapists or support staff when required. Stay up to date with developments in occupational therapy practices, research, and legislation. Qualifications & Experience: Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy. Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapist, with a strong understanding of the challenges faced by clients. Knowledge of current best practices, evidence-based techniques, and relevant legislation. Ability to assess complex cases and provide effective, tailored interventions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with clients, families, and other professionals. Desirable Skills: Experience in a clinical, community, or rehabilitation setting. Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment.
