Primary Teaching Assistant - Southwark - January 2025 - Long term - £90 - £110 per day (depending on experience)
About the Role:
1. Providing one-on-one or small group support to students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
2. Assisting the teacher with daily classroom routines and tasks.
3. Leading intervention groups and assisting with curriculum delivery.
4. Building strong relationships with students to encourage engagement and academic progress.
5. Working with teachers to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
6. Helping students develop social and emotional skills alongside their academic growth.
About You:
1. Has a strong passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
2. Has experience working with children, preferably within a classroom environment.
3. Has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or is willing to learn.
4. Is enthusiastic, patient, and proactive in their approach to supporting students.
5. Is able to commute to Southwark and is looking for a long-term role in a school where they can develop and grow.
6. Can work well as part of a team, collaborating with teachers, SENDCOs, and other teaching assistants.
