Sweet Spot seeks an experienced Freelance SEO & Content Specialist based in the UK to enhance our capabilities in providing SEO strategies, content optimisation, and authority-building for health and behaviour-change campaigns for a upcoming tender. This role will focus on developing and executing SEO initiatives that drive visibility and engagement. Responsibilities: SEO Strategy Development - Design and implement a holistic SEO strategy focusing on both technical and content-driven SEO. - Conduct keyword research relevant to health and behaviour-change to inform content and site structure. Content Optimisation & Strategy - Develop and optimise content that aligns with a not-for-profit client's goals of educating and influencing behaviour change. - Collaborate with the content team to produce high-quality, authoritative content that ranks well and meets user intent. - Use analytics to guide content adjustments, ensuring continuous improvement in engagement metrics. Technical SEO & Compliance - Perform technical audits to ensure optimal site performance, addressing issues like crawl errors, site speed, mobile usability, and indexability. - Ensure all SEO practices adhere to current standards, including compliance with health-related content guidelines for credibility and authority. Reporting & Analytics - Track and analyse key SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and PowerBI. - Provide regular insights and data-driven recommendations for ongoing SEO improvements. - Develop SEO reports that showcase progress in visibility, engagement, and content effectiveness, tailored for non-profit stakeholders. Competitor & Trend Analysis - Monitor competitors and emerging trends in the health and non-profit sectors. - Identify opportunities for the client to improve search ranking and domain authority. Key Experience and Skills - 5 years of SEO experience with a strong portfolio in health, behaviour-change, or non-profit sectors. - Content Strategy Expertise: Demonstrated ability to develop content plans that align with client goals, backed by SEO-driven insights. - Technical SEO Skills: Proficient in conducting site audits, troubleshooting, and implementing solutions to improve technical SEO. - Analytical Skills: Strong experience with GA, GTM, PowerBI, or equivalent analytics tools for tracking and reporting SEO effectiveness. - Knowledge of Health Content Best Practices: Familiarity with E-A-T (Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) principles and health content guidelines. | Why Join Sweet Spot?
