Key Responsibilities as a Buyer: Strategic Sourcing and Procurement: Identify, negotiate, and acquire machine components and spare parts, ensuring alignment with operational objectives. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work in synergy with engineering teams, project managers, and senior stakeholders to accurately capture procurement needs and optimise resource allocation. Cost Management and Efficiency: Lead initiatives to achieve cost efficiencies by analysing supplier markets and implementing cost-saving measures. Candidate Experience - Technical Expertise: Proven experience as a Buyer in a manufacturing or engineering environment with a solid understanding of technical engineering drawings. Advanced Negotiation and Communication: Exceptional negotiation skills, coupled with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation. Procurement Lifecycle Management: Competence in overseeing end-to-end procurement processes, from sourcing to supplier performance management.
