LECTURER – BUSINESS STUDIES/TRAVEL & TOURISM (Eastbourne) Full Time, 37 hours per week, permanent contract. Part Time applications considered. Up to £39,808 p.a. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed lecturer to join our Business and Travel & Tourism team. The successful candidate will be acting as course lead and personal tutor for L2 Business and Travel. You will be leading the development of the programmes, promoting good practice in programme planning, delivery, and development activities. A willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to the development of these programmes. Applicants should have a relevant industry related qualifications and experience, a teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one) a student-centred approach to teaching and learning and a commitment to high achievement. Requirements - Teaching qualification Cert.Ed./PGCE desirable but would consider a candidate without teaching qualification. - Knowledge and experience of delivering and coordinating business / travel qualifications highly desirable. - Candidates should have achieved grade C/4 and above in English and Maths, relevant industry experience with a subject specific qualification (Level 2 minimum). - A student-centred approach to teaching and learning.
