Senior Data Analyst – Business Reporting
Position: Senior Data Analyst for Business Reporting
Location: Sheffield Business Park, 17 Europa View, S9 1XH (Minimum 3 days per week in our Sheffield Support Centre)
Contract type: Full time, 40 hours per week
Rate: Up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience

Join us as our new Senior Data Analyst for Business Reporting.
In this role, you’ll take the lead on overseeing and evolving our core business reporting at Exemplar Health Care, helping to ensure that leaders at all levels of the business have the information they need to make effective decisions.
Working with your colleagues in the Analysis Team, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining consistency and accuracy of key reports, whilst also handling ad-hoc analysis queries and data requests.
About the role
As a Senior Data Analyst for Business Reporting with Exemplar Health Care, you’ll play a key role in the evolution of management information and insight at a business that is rapidly growing in both size and digital maturity.
Accuracy and attention to detail is fundamental to ensuring that our users can place their trust in the content we create, but we also embrace innovation and creative solutions to deliver a range of ambitious BI tools and analysis that can evolve and enhance how those users interact with their data.
No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. Ensuring key business reports are issued on time and to a high degree of accuracy.
2. Taking a lead role on designated analysis, with support from Data Analyst and guidance from the Head of Analysis.
3. Acting as a business expert on topics relating to Microsoft Excel.
4. Developing a strong understanding of key business reports, their purpose and audience, and how they function, then using this knowledge to lead on enhancing, updating and redesigning these reports to better serve business needs.
5. Working with Head of Analysis and the wider Analysis Team to migrate legacy Excel reporting into Power BI, ensuring consistency between calculations and KPIs.
