Providing support and education for clients diagnosed with sexually transmitted infections, including HIV.? Leading pre- and post-test discussions for HIV.? Ensuring a smooth transition from GUM to HIV services for newly diagnosed patients.? Managing specific projects alongside the lead sexual health advisor.? Apply today Interview - TBC Main duties of the job Provide information and health education for clients diagnosed with HIV & sexually transmitted infections, providing support and onward referral as required. Support patients with inconclusive HIV results until their HIV results are ascertained. Provide effective partner notification (PN) in order to fulfil a public health role by securing the attendance and treatment outcomes of the contacts of patients. To liaise with other GUM/HIV clinics nationally to facilitate partner notification. To independently manage own caseload, including more challenging Provider Referral PN in HIV.To engage with clients specifically around risk reduction and behaviour change, using evidenced based tools such as Motivational Interviewing and Behavioural Change models.
