Quality Engineer - Electrical and Instrumentation

An excellent opportunity for an experienced contract Electrical and Instrumentation Quality Engineer has arisen onsite with one of our clients at an MOD research facility. Successful applicants will have experience working with quality assurance in an E&I commissioning team.
What will you do in this position?
1. Prepare and review Inspection and Test Plans and supporting Quality documentation.
2. Provide Quality related technical support for projects.
3. Review vendor/supplier Inspection and Test Plans.
4. Liaise with E&I Completions and Commissioning Engineers, Project Engineers and Construction Operatives in relation to compilation of LTQR (Life Time Quality Records) and SIS (System Information Sheets) pack.
5. Co-ordinate and advise guidance on E&I Quality requirements.
Experience & Qualifications
1. Demonstrable experience in ITP and LTQR production, compilation and review.
2. Knowledge and experience in Quality Management Systems.
3. Able to read and understand electrical schematics.
4. Understanding of and familiarity with standards and specifications.
5. Previous experience working in an E&I role in a highly regulated industry (Nuclear/Oil & Gas/Aviation).
6. Minimum ONC/HNC in an Engineering discipline.
7. A relevant testing and inspection qualification i.e. C&G 2391 Testing & Inspection.
