Verafin - Solutions Director - Fraud SME (London)

As part of the Enterprise Sales team, the Solutions Director will serve as a subject matter expert on the fraud industry in the UK/Continental Europe.
This position will work closely with product management teams, business leaders, and clients to ensure that the companys offerings are aligned with current regulatory standards and effectively address the evolving challenges in the financial services industry. This individual should understand the challenges the UK/European banking sectors face, demonstrate that Verafin is the best fraud solution to solve those problems, and support clients through both sales and post-sale processes. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about the fraud landscape in the UK/Europe, capable of engaging in commercial discussions, and able to represent Verafin at sales meetings, industry events, and more.

What Youll Do:
* Subject Matter Expertise
o Serve as a Fraud subject matter expert (SME) on industry standards, regulations, and trends
o Maintain an understanding of the financial regulatory software industry and be able to effectively demonstrate our unique value proposition
* Strategic Advisory
o Advise internal teams on Fraud strategy
o Support the development of new features or enhancements in the companys fraud solutions by offering expert guidance on industry pain points
* Client Consultation
o Act as a trusted advisor for clients, offering guidance on best practices and helping them implement effective compliance frameworks
o Work with clients to understand their specific needs and offer tailored recommendations to improve their financial crime prevention programs
* Collaboration and Cross Functional Engagement
o Work with our Sales teams to prepare and deliver product presentations
o Work cross-functionally across various internal teams such as Product Management, Product Development, Customer Success Management, and Leadership
o Collaborate with other sales team members by bringing forward innovative ideas in team meetings and discussions
* Thought Leadership
o Participate in industry events across UK/Europe representing the company as a thought leader in the Fraud space
o Organize and champion key segment user groups/roundtables
* Conduct Product Demos
o Demonstrate the application to potential customers, showcasing its features and benefits
o Clearly articulate the value of the application to customers, emphasizing how it addresses their specific needs and challenges
What Were Looking For:
* Proven experience working within the banking, compliance, and fraud prevention industry
* A passion for talking to our customers, helping to peel the onion to uncover problems they may be having
* Ability to discuss technical challenges and solutions with prospects and customers
* Ability to interface with multiple levels within a customers organization (c-suite, decision makers, users)
* Able to adapt and respond to changing business and industry priorities
* Articulate, and professional communication abilities with strong public speaking and presentation skills required
* Excellent time management, collaboration, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
What Success Looks Like:
* You are serving as the ambassador for Verafin within the industry
* Assuring that decisions and strategies are based on a correct and comprehensive understanding of the direction of the industry, industry pain points, and market competitors
* Building, maintaining, and expanding relationships with key segment Banks
* Collaborating effectively with all teams to drive engagement and expansion within segment Banks
