Head of B2B Marketing - Home Based Role with some travel to team and client meetings. Salary dependent on experience.
What will you do?
As Head of B2B Marketing, you will Lead, Manage and be Accountable (LMA) for the full cycle of B2B activities from raising awareness of the company’s brand and proposition with the target market through to lead generation, client retention and growth. This will involve working with the leadership team to ensure the execution of an agreed marketing plan covering objectives, activities, and channels as well as collateral.
Responsibilities will include:
Marketing Strategy & Management:
* Creation and maintenance of an up to date marketing plan which sets out clear marketing objectives, the strategies to be employed, as well as the tactics / actions which are to be executed throughout each trading period.
* Work across the leadership team to establish and manage marketing budgets which deliver the required sales and growth activities and Marketing RoI.
* Track, analyse and report on the performance of marketing activities and campaigns.
* Lead Manage and be Accountable (LMA) for direct reports within the B2B Marketing team.
* Effectively identify and manage appropriate suppliers to support the business’s marketing activity.
* Maintain and enhance the company’s brand position by ensuring consistent messaging and branding across all channels and materials.
* Act as owner of the company’s CRM platform, and work closely with the Director of Innovation and Director of Solutions to ensure consistent use across the business.
* Ownership of the organisation’s Theory of Change model, coordinating and reporting on the business’s Social Impact
Client Acquisition and Support
* Lead generation activities which are aligned to the company’s approach to community and insight lead sales, targeting organisations within the agreed target markets.
* Curation of the company’s community of existing clients, and qualified prospects
* Effectively identify and manage appropriate partners to support market engagement aligned to the company’s overall marketing strategy.
Sales Support
* Work with the sales and solutions teams to ensure all plans and materials are aligned with current products and sales activities.
* Oversee the creation of high quality marketing materials including sales collateral, insight papers, case studies and digital resources within an agreed tech stack.
* Plan and execute the appropriate events, webinars and conferences to promote the company’s activities within target groups.
* Supporting engagement with key clients and stakeholders.
What do you need?
To succeed in this role you’ll need to be passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives and have excellent communication skills. Other skills required include:
* Strong analytical skills and experience using analytical tools to measure performance, and derive actionable insights from data.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey project goals, updates, and expectations to stakeholders.
* Strong project management skills and experience, ideally underpinned by a relevant qualification.
* Experience of operating a CRM platform, ideally Hubspot, for prospect and client management, account planning and sales and marketing reporting.
* Track record of designing and evaluating automations within CRM and other platforms
* Familiarity with project management software and tools, such as Asana.
* Expertise in multi-channel marketing activities, including but not limited to SEO, email, Social, Content, PR and Events
* Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.
* Experience in managing project budgets, including cost estimation and financial reporting.
* Lead and inspire a team, manage conflicts, and make strategic decisions.
* Adaptable and hungry for continuous improvement, both for themselves and their team.
* Agile, capable of thinking on feet and making swift and effective decisions to drive project success.
* Experience and / or qualification in Marketing Planning is essential as is experience within the recruitment or early talent market.
