An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the MTW Pathology quality team as a Band 4 Pathology Quality Officer. You will work closely with the Pathology Quality Manager to ensure the provision of a high-quality professional service and maintain compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. The departments are fully accredited with UKAS and comply with relevant ISO standards.
Being flexible, self-motivated and innovative will be fundamental to your role. The ability to communicate well with senior staff and laboratory teams is essential.
You will provide support with maintenance and implementation of the Pathology Quality Management System (QMS) and governance processes within MTW including providing guidance on use of Q-Pulse and supporting the Quality Manager with the delivery of the training elements of the QMS.
The post holder will act as a champion for Quality and provide basic training and advice to staff on Quality Management Systems.
The post holder will be responsible for the administration of the Quality Management systems within MTW, which will include Qpulse management, undertaking quality and process audits, supporting documentation review processes and assisting in the collation of documentation required to be shared with regulatory and assessment bodies.
The postholder will extract data from Qpulse and Inphase systems to facilitate production of timely and detailed quality reports, and will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of Quality Team meeting agenda, write-up and distribution of meeting minutes.
