Our Client Communications team continues to grow and we are now looking for an experienced Digital Designer to join either our vibrant Bristol, Edinburgh or Leeds office with hybrid working. This is an exciting role and would most likely suit someone with previous experience in a similar role where they have gained knowledge and experience in a digital design role with UX/UI experience.
The Role
As a Digital UX/UI Designer, you will design user-friendly and accessible digital experiences for our Pre-login and MyPension platforms. Your role will include creating sitemaps, designing new pages and features, and collaborating with developers to ensure seamless implementation.
You will lead the design process, with support and guidance from the Creative Communications Manager and the digital section of the Communications team. Together, you will shape concepts, refine designs, and ensure high-quality, user-centred solutions that meet both user needs and business objectives.

Design digital Solutions:
* UI/UX design: Create pixel-perfect, responsive visual designs that incorporate branding elements to ensure an excellent user experience across all platforms.
* Sitemap creation: Develop clear and effective sitemaps for digital products, identifying potential development issues early in the process.
* Collaboration with digital teams: Work closely with the digital team and developers to test and review designs, ensuring they are implemented correctly and meet functional and aesthetic standards.
* Digital accessibility: Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (e.g., colour contrast, responsiveness) to accommodate diverse user needs.
* MyPension/Pre-login: Maintain consistent design standards across both platforms to ensure a seamless and unified experience for our clients.
Support the Communications team:
* Web imagery & content design: Design imagery for client-facing news/features and self-promotion materials (e.g., LinkedIn visuals).
* Email design: Create visually appealing email templates, supported by the Design team, to align with the broader communications strategy.
* Analytics & reporting: Use analytics tools to create client-facing reports that provide insights into the performance of digital solutions.
* User journey mapping: Map out the full journey of users interacting with a product or service to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
* Intranet pages: Develop and maintain Nexus pages for internal communication.
* Communications newsletter design: Contribute to the design and layout of the monthly communications newsletter.
