If the answer is yes, please proceed on for further information The opportunity Due to an increase in projects, an exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced HR Officer to become responsible for delivering a comprehensive HR service for an International Chemical Production Facility in the North West, providing advice and guidance to employees and line managers in line with HR policies, UK employment law, and pension legislation. Employment Type: 12-month, Fixed Term Contract 36 hours per week, on site Salary expectation: £34K - £42K Your duties and responsibilities will be Serve as the first point of contact to advise line managers and employees across different business entities on HR policies and employment regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and policies. Coordinate and manage recruitment events, ensuring appropriate selection activities, resources, and methods are used to successfully recruit the most suitable candidates for each vacancy. Continuously monitor and improve key HR processes, such as recruitment, sickness absence control, HR induction, etc., ensuring their alignment with HR policy and legislation. Provide support and advice to line management to ensure that sickness absence processes are followed, minimizing employee absence and ensuring employees return to work in a controlled and timely manner. Offer comprehensive HR support to HR Managers across various business entities, specifically within the North West Operations, when required.You will have the following qualifications and experience CIPD Human Resources Practice Certificate Level 3 or equivalent. At least 3 years of experience in an HR function. Knowledge of HR policies, terms, and conditions. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence employees at all levels.The setting for the role Risks and Hazards are in line with working on a chemical site. These can include, chemical burns, trips and falls, overexertion, cuts and scrapes, chemical exposure, inhalation of chemicals and confined spaces.
