Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the financial health of the organisation. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and a solid understanding of accounts payable processes. Responsibilities Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices and payments in a timely manner. Manage accounts receivable, including payment application and Credit Control Reconcile bank statements and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly. Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in the preparation of annual budgets. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting. Assist in the implementation of new accounting software systems as required. Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports. Experience Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role is essential. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is highly desirable. Strong understanding of accounts receivable and payable processes and general accounting principles. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are a must. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively within deadlines. Strong numerical skills with a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
