You'll be joining the biology team working with other production scientists who are advancing medical technology and improving healthcare outcomes. We offer a collaborative and inclusive work environment where your expertise and ideas will be valued and nurtured.
As a Production Scientist at LEX Diagnostics, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the manufacture of LEX molecular reagents and the development of our lyophilisation processes. You’ll also contribute towards maintaining and improving Production Laboratory operations and play a key role in validation activities to help us achieve and maintain ISO 13485 certification.
You will have the opportunity to:
* Support the production of LEX molecular biology reagents, including reagent preparation, lyophilization, and quality control of small to medium scale reagent batches.
* Document all production activities, following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintaining accurate records.
* Develop and maintain processes to assess the performance of lyophilisation equipment and procedure including providing regular reports.
* Contribute to the running, development and improvement of laboratory operations, ensuring efficient and effective production processes (purchasing, stock maintenance, good management of internal orders,…)
* Support the creation and implementation of validation protocols, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
* Work closely with the Quality Manager to continue the journey towards ISO 13485 certification of the LEX facilities and QMS.
Requirements
Your application will stand out if you have:
* Strong understanding of molecular biology techniques and principles. Proficiency in RT-PCR and other molecular biology methodologies.
* Experience in reagent production or development.
* Experience working under a Quality Management System (QMS) is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with validation processes in a regulated environment, ideally in the diagnostics industry.
* Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
* Familiarity with LIMS or data management database.
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
