Our client in Southport has asked us to recruit a compassionate and adaptable Teaching Assistant to begin work As Soon As Possible. We are also looking to onboard staff for upcoming roles in the same area.

Ideally, candidates will have at least one year of experience working 1-1 with children that demonstrate challenging behaviours. Your role will involve working closely with students who require additional support, helping them to achieve their potential and thrive in a supportive learning environment. Your role will involve:
* Supporting students with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
* Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapting learning activities to suit student needs.
* Promoting positive behaviour and providing emotional support to students.
* Collaborating with class teachers, SEND coordinators, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
* Encouraging the development of social skills and fostering independence in students.
