We are looking for passionate Cover Supervisors to support our schools. Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Supervision: Manage and oversee a classroom of students in the absence of their regular teacher.
Lesson Implementation: Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher and ensure students complete their assigned work.
Engagement Strategies: Keep students engaged and focused on their tasks.
Behavior Management: Enforce school behavior policies and address any issues that may arise.
Learning Support: Assist students as needed, answering questions and helping them understand the lesson material.
Administrative Tasks: Monitor and record student attendance and report any incidents to the school office.
Classroom Preparation: Set up the classroom and materials to ensure a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS Certificate: Must have an enhanced DBS check on the Update Service.
Experience with Children: Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.
Organizational Skills: Good organizational and time management skills to manage classroom activities.
Adaptability: Flexibility to handle a variety of subjects and adjust to different classroom environments.
Interest in Teaching: A genuine interest in pursuing a teaching career is advantageous.
