Our client has a requirement for a Process Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Warrington.
Role Purpose:
The Process Engineer will support key engineering projects by delivering essential process engineering activities. The role involves ensuring the safe and efficient transfer of materials, contributing to safety assessments, and addressing hazard management considerations.
Job Role Responsibilities:
* Updates to process safety and design documentation.
* Completion of technical assessments and engineering reports.
* Development and review of transport and storage conditions for materials.
* Identification and mitigation of process safety risks.
* Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective project delivery.
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
* Degree qualified Process Engineer in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).
* Proactive and solutions focused approach to work.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
* Competent report writing skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely report findings.
* Liaison with key stakeholders and other engineering disciplines.
* Understanding of hazard management and process safety considerations.
* Nuclear industry experience, ideally within a regulated environment.
* Ability to obtain SC clearance.
* Chartered Process Engineer (IChemE/EC).
* Experience in highly regulated industries such as nuclear, oil & gas, or chemical processing.
* Familiarity with industry standard approval procedures.
* Experience with hazardous material management.
* Expertise in safety assessments, risk evaluations, and process optimisation.
