THE ROLE
Salary: £27,600 - £35,950 per annum, depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

We’re looking for an Assistant Project Manager who will play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of an initiative within the ‘Future BBC’ transformation agenda. The initiative is focused on enabling a BBC that is fit for the future looking at increasing the pace of our delivery, how we can leverage market innovation and better exploit our own innovation.
Main Responsibilities
The Transformation Office is at the heart of delivering major BBC transformation through the Sustainability Programme, the DI&B Programme, Across the UK, the Enterprise Savings Portfolio and BBC Futures.
Working as part of the Transformation Office you will gain greater insight into the strategic transformation journey of the BBC, deliver and ensure accountability for change across the BBC and help to build a strong culture aligned to our values.
What we’re looking for
* Some experience of working on, managing or leading projects successfully (including planning, problem solving, managing risk and budget or resource responsibility).
* Working knowledge of the project lifecycle, products, techniques and methodologies.
* Understanding of, and ability to utilise, good practice in all aspects of project management, including the drivers of success and sources of risk for the project domain.
* Good and well-practiced communication (spoken, written, listening), inter-personal and influencing skills, with the ability to bridge specialism and business through user-friendly language.
* Ability to effectively deal with a range of stakeholders, navigate changeable environments and achieve desired outcomes.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures for the domain, including procurement, contract management, environment, and health and safety.
* Basic Microsoft Office skills, including MS Project, and experience manipulating data to make it meaningful for different audiences.
