An opportunity is available for a Business Administrator to join a busy customer services team.
The principal role of the Business Administrator is to perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities across the business, as well as covering reception.
The role requires a confident, self-motivated, and personable person with a polite telephone manner and strong administration and organization skills. As part of the wider customer support team, the successful candidate will be an integral part of the smooth running of the plant.
Hours of Work:
8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Salary circa £25k/annum
Your main responsibilities:
1. Providing general office administration including data entry, scanning, photocopying, and filing.
2. Meeting and greeting clients and visitors to the site.
3. Taking inbound calls from customers and transferring to the relevant department.
4. Providing administrative support to various departments throughout the business.
5. Monitoring incoming sales enquiries and distributing/managing accordingly.
6. Sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing post.
7. Managing site access for all employees and visitors and ensuring Health & Safety protocols are followed.
8. Coordinating monthly site Occupational Health visits.
9. Being the owner of the reception area, CCTV cameras, checking availability of visitor work permits, and signing in sheets.
10. Organizing catering and refreshments for business meetings.
11. Maintaining stock of visitors' PPE.
12. Scheduling meetings and minute-taking.
13. Assisting the Continuous Improvement team in initiatives related to customer satisfaction and retention.
14. Supporting improvements to administrative workflows and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy in supporting activities.
15. Assisting in analyzing data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential issues.
Your essential skills we are looking for:

2. Having experience with SAP, Microsoft Office tools, and reception.
3. Being strong at communication and being proactive, efficient, detail-oriented, and analytical.
