Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a senior leader to join #TeamUHDB a multi-site acute Trust as Associate Director of Health, Safety and Wellbeing - leading the delivery of a safe, effective and high quality service for people working at UHDB and within Derbyshire, totalling c.25,000 NHS colleagues overall.
You will work with the Chief People Officer and Deputy Chief People Officer to lead an impactful and responsive Health, Safety and Wellbeing service, both internally and to stakeholders across the Derbyshire health system. Caring for our people is a principal focus, and you will be instrumental in shaping solutions, managing a value for money service and assuring the Executive Team that our colleagues are safe in the workplace.

Main Duties of the Job
1. To lead a multi-disciplinary team comprising Occupational Health, Health and Safety, Workplace Wellbeing professionals. Responsible for the budget, physical resources and accountable for service delivery.
2. Deliver a high-quality Occupational Health and wellbeing service across the Derbyshire NHS Trust.
3. Monitor, evaluate and assure service delivery in accordance with contract performance. Develop robust performance data and KPIs.
4. Responsible for the departmental allocated budget and support direct reports in managing their devolved budgets, maximising resources, including people, equipment and time.
5. Encourage the appropriate development of quality systems, clinical pathways and service protocols and guidelines.
