Role: Customer Service Specialist - German Speaking

Overview of the Role
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist to deliver best-in-class service to their B2B retailers and D2C consumers. This hybrid role, based in Harwell, Oxfordshire, requires a driven individual who excels in resolving customer queries, managing orders, and liaising with multiple teams to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Respond to pre-order inquiries regarding product specifications and availability across multiple channels.
2. Guide customers through the online ordering process and address post-order queries, including payment, shipping, stock allocation, invoicing, and delivery.
3. Process website returns and credits promptly to maintain satisfaction and process efficiency.
4. Conduct daily fraud and order checks to ensure accuracy and security in all transactions.
5. Utilise software systems to resolve customer queries and process manual orders when necessary.
6. Work collaboratively with Area Managers, Finance, Product, Warehousing, and Logistics teams.
7. Provide timely, professional, and friendly support via phone, email, and live chat.
Key Requirements
1. Demonstrated experience in high-volume customer service environments with a focus on quality and efficiency.
2. Exceptional multitasking and organisational skills with a detail-oriented and proactive approach.
3. Proficiency in IT systems, including MS Office; knowledge of SalesForce Service Cloud and SAP is advantageous.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. A positive, team-focused attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
6. Fluency in written and spoken English and German.
