We need 3x fantastic CAD Technicians to join our offsite facility based in Drighlington.
In this role, the CAD Technician will provide support to the project department that handles fabrication works for major projects for prestigious clients across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Checking drawings in a software system against client's drawings.
2. Recording comments in the software and updating trackers.
3. Supporting ERP system input, adding demand elements as requested by Engineers and Project Managers.
4. Assisting management with document control, including receipting, checking, printing, copying, and distributing project-related documents. Maintaining drawing/TQ registers and managing transmittal notes.
5. Creating new parts and uploading to the ERP system.
6. Compiling handover packs for manufacturing and subcontractor documents.
7. Coordinating project documentation and Operation and Maintenance Manuals.
8. Booking hotels, meeting rooms, and handling general administration tasks such as copying and scanning.
Working Hours:
Flexible hours between 7am and 5pm Monday to Thursday, with finishing times before 1pm on Fridays, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
Candidate Requirements:
We are looking for candidates with an interest in fabrication/weld components and a willingness to learn and develop. Some experience includes:
* Practical skills in metal assembly or welding.
* Ability to read technical information and apply it under guidance.
* Following sequences and checklists for drawing verification.
* Experience in administrative tasks.
* A practical approach and a positive, proactive attitude.
* Willingness to learn and develop skills.
