We are looking for Support Workers to join our dedicated and caring team supporting clients with varying needs in our Supported Living setting.
Hours are on a rota basis and include evenings and weekends. We are recruiting for full-time (36 hours per week) Support Workers.
Applicants must be flexible. If successful at interview, applicants will be subject to DBS checks and references.
Duties
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene.
* Provide support, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for adults in need.
* Administer medication as prescribed and assist with meal preparation.
* Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive atmosphere.
* Support clients to appointments or social activities as required.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
* Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the living environment.
Requirements
* Previous experience in patient care in the United Kingdom.
* Knowledge of mental health, autism, and learning disabilities.
* Ability to perform tasks related to home care, including meal preparation and medication administration.
* Excellent communication skills and a patient, empathetic nature.
* Must be able to drive and hold a valid driving licence.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting client dignity.
