About the opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and experienced Project Manager to drive success in our Concrete business across Perth and Regional WA. In this key role, you will hold responsibility for the management of designated projects within the Concrete business in Perth and Regional Western Australia.
1. Provide a key contact for Holcim clients, ensuring delivery of client project contracts and requirements.
2. Focus on ensuring Holcim is best positioned to meet our contractual commitments and obligations.
3. Identify and manage logistical elements of supply and delivery, whilst proactively resolving any issues.
4. Responsible for the safe mobilisation, supply and operation of concrete supply contracts.
5. Be a role model for safety and ensure compliance with the SHE Management System.
6. Manage project expenses and personnel costs.
7. On-site management of all client relations and planning requirements.
8. Support the sales function and play a key role in the tender review process.
9. Ensure customer compliance with the terms in the relevant agreement.
10. Provide constant honest feedback on performance and manage forecasts, stock levels and KPIs.
About you: To succeed in this key role, tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management or related disciplines are preferred. You should demonstrate credible experience in projects ideally within related industry sectors. Sound knowledge of concrete products and hands-on experience in a concrete plant will be especially valued.
You will also require credible experience with financial oversight and monitoring of project related costs. Your leadership skills and ability to effectively supervise operations will be a key strength. A strong commitment to customer needs, safety and quality is essential.
