Service Manager required. Our client is a long-standing family business that has been in the agricultural and ground care industry for over 100 years. They are now looking for a Service Manager due to the growth of the business. This will be for the Tingewick depot.
Successful candidates will manage a depot and a team of engineers. Candidates will also improve processes and the running of the depot.
Service Manager Job Overview
* Organising and managing a team of skilled engineers.
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure parts availability and efficient time management.
* Manage and optimise call outs and ensure all customers are being delivered first-class service.
* Manage all aspects of the service team and workshop.
* Develop and maintain relationships with valued customers.
* Maintain WIP at a manageable level in line with company policy.
Service Manager Job Requirements
* Experienced in being a Service Manager in this industry (or experienced in a transferable relevant industry) or an experienced Engineer looking to step up to management.
* Have an excellent understanding of the machinery and the seasonal pressure for our customers and the business.
* A skilled communicator, enabling you to communicate with engineers and customers.
* Used to working to challenging deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
* Work well under pressure.
* Happy to work some Saturday mornings during busy periods.
Service Manager Salary & Benefits
* Salary: 35,000 - 42,000
* Working hours: Monday- Friday 8am - 5.30pm
* Holiday Package: 24 days + 8BH

* Pension - 3% employee contribution and 7% employer contribution.
